Storing smarts

Before matting can be rolled for storage, it must be completely dry and free of large pieces of dirt and debris. Roll mat tightly on core and secure it with three straps, for instance, a belt, bungee cord, nylon or hooking strap.
Flip mat so the backside is up. Store mats lying flat. Don’t stack objects on top of the matting that will cause pressure denting or tearing. You may stack mats on themselves.
Roll mat on a core of some type – either the original core the mat was shipped on, or a 4″ diameter PVC pipe of the correct length. Note that the core must be long enough to span width of mat. The easiest way to move matting in and out of the storage area is with two four-wheel dolly carts.
